Band: Hasse Levy (1945-1989)
(guitar og vokal), William Skotte Olsen (1945-2005) (violin, guitar og vokal),
Yvonne Versteeg (guitar, vokal), Tommy Petersen (bas, vokal), Ib Damgaard
(congas og percussions).
Music is hippie/acid folk based on traditionals and self written
tunes.
Greengrass (Hasse og William) started the musical carrier in
the mid sixties as street musicians in Copenhagen. They joined for a short
while the cult band, Steppeulvene. Hasse Levy wrote the song "Du skal ud,
hvor du ikke kan bunde" for the only single by Steppeulvenes (1967).
William Skotte Olsen was in the beginning of the sixties a promising
painter. But after a couple of years with exhebitions he slipped away from
the art establishment. Was active as a painter on "Fristaden Christiania"
untill he passed away in 2005.
